VoxScribe
Record, transcribe and summarise voice sessions on your phone — with three transcription engines to choose from, including one that never leaves the device.
What it does
Remote API, on-device Whisper, or the phone's built-in recogniser — switchable in settings, per session if you want.
Choose Whisper on the handset and the audio never leaves it at all.
A form before recording, a voice-prompted intake, quick-record and fill in afterwards, or let the AI extract the details from what was said.
Recording, transcript, summary, date and time, session name and notes, together in one record.
Connects to Open WebUI, or any API by URL and key.
Android and iPhone from one codebase, covered by a single licence.
Every transcription app wants your audio on their servers and a subscription for the privilege. For anything covered by a contract, an NDA or a regulator, that is a non-starter — and for everyone else it is a recurring bill for something your phone can already do.
VoxScribe records, transcribes and summarises, and lets you pick which engine does the work: a remote API you point at yourself, on-device Whisper, or the phone’s own speech recogniser. Every session is stored with its recording, transcript and summary, plus a timestamp, a session name and your notes. One codebase, both platforms, one licence.

Questions about this product
Does my audio get uploaded?
Only if you choose the remote engine — and then only to the endpoint you configured. The on-device engine uploads nothing.
Is there a WordPress plugin?
Planned. The documented API contract already exists, so sessions can be pushed to a site today.
