Bookmark Sorter
Six thousand bookmarks, sorted, deduplicated and dead-link-checked. Browser extension and desktop app, one licence.
What it does
Exact and near-duplicate URLs, including tracking-parameter variants of the same page.
Tests every bookmark and groups what no longer resolves.
Proposes a folder structure from the actual content of the pages.
Nothing changes until you approve the plan.
Browser extension and desktop app, covered by one licence.
Exports your existing bookmarks before touching anything.
Nobody sets out to collect four thousand bookmarks. They accumulate over a decade, across three browsers and two computers, and by the time you notice, sorting them by hand is a weekend you are never getting back.
Bookmark Sorter reads the lot, finds the duplicates, checks which links are dead, works out sensible folders from the content rather than the URL, and shows you the proposed result before it changes anything. The extension works inside the browser; the desktop app handles exported files from browsers you no longer use.
