Open WebUI Tools Pack

Twelve ready-made tools for Open WebUI: PDF read, create and fill, keyless web search, fetch, calculator, datetime, weather and Wikipedia.

v1.3.0

What it does

PDF suite

Read a PDF, create one from scratch, and fill form fields programmatically.

Keyless web search

Real search results with no API key and no per-query cost.

Fetch URL

Pull and clean a page so the model can actually read it.

Calculator

Arithmetic the model does not have to guess at.

Date and time

Timezone-aware, which fixes a surprising number of wrong answers.

Weather and Wikipedia

Open-data lookups, no key, no quota.

Open WebUI is excellent out of the box and almost useless without tools. Writing them yourself means learning the tool spec before you get to the part you actually wanted.

This pack gives your local model the abilities people assume it already has. Every tool is a single Python file you paste in, with no API keys required for any of them — the search tool scrapes rather than calling a paid endpoint, and the weather and reference tools use open data.
